The lifecycle a brand profile moves through. Exactly one state shows a public number; the rest render the honest reason in its place.
Every brand profile carries exactly one publication state. The state is a deterministic function of the evidence and the methodology — never editorial, and never changed silently. Transitions are logged in the audit trail with a timestamp and the triggering condition.
